Knighton Day Nursery is proud to be an independent, family run setting
We've been providing high quality childcare in Knighton, Leicestershire since 1993. Our ethos has always been to offer high quality care, learning, activities and experiences in a friendly, relaxed and nurturing atmosphere for the children in our care.
Situated on Welford Road, a main commuter route into Leicester.
We are easily accessible by car and public transport.
We are open from 7.30am to 6pm, 51 weeks of the year.
We care for children, aged 3 months to 5 years.
A Curiosity Approach Accredited™ Setting
As a Curiosity Approach Accredited™ setting, we follow a modern day approach that brings together parts of Reggio, Steiner, Te Whariki and Montessori bringing curiosity, awe and wonder into early childhood.
We’re a child centred setting that encourages children to develop their confidence, curiosity and independence in a safe, happy and relaxed environment. Giving our children these positive experiences, at their level, develops confidence and motivation for learning into the future.
Our Nursery
We have 3 group rooms for children aged 3 months to 3 years old, each with a dedicated staff team.
Pre School
Our dedicated team offer the children activities and experiences which follow and build on their interests, encouraging them to test their ideas.
